Problem: The brief involved creating a publication and promotional materials for a retrospective of George Orwell’s work.

Solution: I wanted to create something that represented Orwell’s life as an author, poet, journalist, socialist and also world traveller.  The deliverables for this project included a publication to accompany the retrospective, this features a ‘newspaper’ insert to represent Orwells time in the industry. A pocket size poster of the retrospective is also left inside the book as a memento. Another aspect developed during this brief was the development of expressive type which feature as gift cards.
